About the blog:

When the blogging phenomenon first began blogs always appeared to me as online diaries. Quite comfortable with writing in random notebooks and journals that were hidden from others, the idea of blogging had never appealed to me. I think a lot has changed since those days though. I will allow myself to blog but try my best to remain ‘withholding’. I find myself only to realize I lost myself somewhere along the journey. So what the heck- I’ll start a blog.

About the author:

I am well pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my way of life, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as His Prophet and Messenger. I live to strive to implement: Tawheed of Rabb al-`Alameen and Baraa’ah of al-Mushrikeen. Insha’Allah

My alias, musaafirah, means traveler in Arabic. I am a traveler in this life and I am not allowed to halt except when I reach either Paradise or Hellfire. (O Allah make Paradise my final resting place, ameen.)

About the title:

It is referring to those who forget Allah in this life. Those who forget their obligations to Him. Those who forget that there will come a Day when we will all be made to remember. This blog is mostly a reminder to myself for those times when I so often forget the important things in life.

May Allah make us amongst those who remember Him much and save us from the horror of being forgotten on that Day, ameen.
